KOTH board
in chess, king of the hill (KOTH) is a variant where the objective is to occupy the center square of the board. i'm working on 3d designing and printing a board specifically for this variant, where the central squares are elevated to match the hill theme. i'm also making the pieces themed around the hill concept, eg. the king is a big flag, the knight is a mountain goat, etc. will post images of my progress soon!
arduino laser engraver
idea for the future. i want to design and build an arduino-based laser engraver for personal use. as an added challenge, since i don't have a 3d printer at home, i'll have to find alternative materials (cardboard?!) to prototype and test my designs. img is taken off the internet from a similar project.
cad design
i'm working on building up my 3d modeling skills and designing various projects using different cad softwares like tinkercad, inventor, onshape, etc. while i've been mostly learning through projects, i also like going through youtube tutorial courses to learn about new features/techniques that i ordinarily wouldn't encounter. hoping to get an associate certification soon to make it official :)
